Abderrahim Yamou was born in Casablanca in 1959.

Alongside with studies in biology and then in sociology, he took art history and drawing courses in Paris.

The artist has chosen to make nature the matrix of his works, in infinitely precise detail. His inspiration is drawn from the floral and natural environment, resulting in landscapes that are both lyrical and enigmatic.

Abderrahim Yamou easily manages to touch the sensitivity of the viewer through careful work on the outbreaks of plant forms and germinations, mixed with soft and spring-like hues.

His works are now recognized and have joined several prestigious collections in Morocco and abroad.
