Born in 1992 in Had Soualem, a small village in the Casablanca region, and raised in a family of artists, Idriss Darif has quickly emerged as one of the rising stars of contemporary Moroccan art. From a young age, he demonstrated a striking artistic maturity, painting with the confidence and sensitivity of seasoned masters — despite having no formal academic training. À seulement 20 ans, il organise sa première exposition qui lui vaut les éloges de critiques d’art, le désignant alors comme l’un des jeunes espoirs les plus prometteurs du Maroc.
Il participe ensuite à une grande manifestation artistique à Rabat réunissant plus de 200 œuvres arabes, où il remporte le premier prix — une reconnaissance déterminante qui confirme sa trajectoire ascendante.
