Born in the ochre city, Mostapha Fakir discovered his passion for art at a very young age. His early talent quickly impressed his teachers—particularly his art instructor—who recognized in his monochrome and abstract experiments the emergence of a unique artistic voice. Creativity followed him throughout his professional life until, in 2008, he decided to devote himself entirely to visual art, which has since become both his sole vocation and livelihood.
Son parcours s’est enrichi à travers de nombreuses expositions au Maroc et à l’étranger, notamment au Danemark où il a présenté une exposition individuelle, ainsi qu’au fil des ateliers et résidences artistiques organisés à l’échelle nationale.
D’abord attiré par le figuratif, Fakir s’oriente rapidement vers l’art abstrait, un territoire de liberté où il invite son public à construire sa propre lecture des œuvres.
