A graduate of the Casablanca School of Fine Arts, Mohammed Arrhioui is a visual artist whose work delves into the fragility of the human condition. His artistic practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of physical and emotional suffering, which he translates through poetic and symbolic means\u2014most notably, the use of eggshells as metaphors for human skin and vulnerability.
\nArrhioui\u2019s art is both intimate and universal, evoking the inner traumas and invisible wounds that shape our shared humanity. The cracked surface of the eggshells he incorporates into his compositions alludes to the personal fractures and existential fragilities we carry. His paintings invite viewers into a space of introspection, where suffering becomes not only a theme but a shared point of reflection.
\nHis career began with early recognition: in 2019, he was selected by the French Institute for a residency as part of the Resilience Lab program. Since then, he has participated in several prestigious residencies, including at the Montresso Foundation (Marrakech) and SAFFCA (Brussels). His work has been exhibited internationally at art fairs and galleries such as AKAA Paris, PAN Amsterdam, and Galerie Duende Art Projects in Antwerp.
