Born in the ochre city, Mostapha Fakir discovered his passion for art at a very young age. His early talent quickly impressed his teachers\u2014particularly his art instructor\u2014who recognized in his monochrome and abstract experiments the emergence of a unique artistic voice. Creativity followed him throughout his professional life until, in 2008, he decided to devote himself entirely to visual art, which has since become both his sole vocation and livelihood.<\/p>\n
Son parcours s\u2019est enrichi \u00e0 travers de nombreuses expositions au Maroc et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, notamment au Danemark o\u00f9 il a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une exposition individuelle, ainsi qu\u2019au fil des ateliers et r\u00e9sidences artistiques organis\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle nationale.
\nD\u2019abord attir\u00e9 par le figuratif, Fakir s\u2019oriente rapidement vers l\u2019art abstrait, un territoire de libert\u00e9 o\u00f9 il invite son public \u00e0 construire sa propre lecture des \u0153uvres.<\/p>\n
Sometimes monochromatic, other times colorful oil compositions on canvas, his works draw the viewer inward and open up endless possibilities of meaning \u2014 a key reason why he often chooses to leave them untitled. For Fakir, interpretation belongs to the observer, each with their own vision and emotional lens.<\/p>\n
