El Houssein Mimouni is an artist painter born in 1957 in the province of Taroudant. Graduate from the School of Fine Arts in Tours, El Houssaine settled overseas, where he currently teaches in Montpellier.

The artist’s paintings often refer to his childhood memories and reflect a pictorial complexity where structure, shape and color is a perfect fit.

The artist’s creations force the multitude of interpretations of his abstractions. Everything is staged with a subtlety of tones, thus offering a unique pictorial experience from an artist in constant search of new challenges.
