Mostafa Sbai is a painter born in 1945 in the city of Berkane and died in 2019 in Tetouan. After studying in Paris at the school of fine arts and his firsts studios in France, the artist decided to settle in his favorite city, Tetouan.

Mostafa Sbai embarked then on a successful career, and his knife technique quickly became his trademark which allowed him to stand out.

As a figurative painter, he has always considered his painting as a mystical experience where the subjects treated deliver messages and sensations translated by the shapes and colors he chooses.

Mostafa has accumulated international exhibitions and openings both on the American continent, where he won the first prize awarded by UNESCO, European, African and Asian.
