Abdelhamid KALMOUN is a self-taught painter born in 1954 in the city of Azemmour.

The particular choice of materials he uses and structures, gives his paintings a creative force. His works are at the crossroads of a subtle game of signs and figures with a colorful chromatic palette.

The artist often chooses to work on the different variations of shapes and symbols, which he manages to subtly translate into a deep exchange with nature.

Abdelhamid Kalmoun has several individual and collective exhibitions to his credit since 1983, in Morocco, France, Germany, Turkey and China.
