Hassan Abarou is a visual artist based in Agadir. A visual arts teacher since 2003, he trained at the Centre pédagogique régional de Marrakech and took part in the Royal Academy of Belgium competition in 2008.

His work explores materiality and space, as demonstrated by his solo exhibitions, notably Matière et espace, Réflexions artistiques (Tangier, 2023) and Poétique de l'eau et de la matière (Rabat, 2016). He has also exhibited in several prestigious collective events, in addition to artistic residencies in France and Morocco. His works can be found in public and private collections.
