Soufiane Assebbane, born in 1974 in Marrakech, is a multidisciplinary Moroccan artist. Painter, decorator, and graphic designer, he has been active in the art world from a young age, developing over the years a style that blends cultural themes with naturalistic inspiration.
Through his works, he develops a personal visual language where free figuration meets symbolic motifs, expressing an intimate relationship with the world around him. The forms, sometimes organic, sometimes stylized, evoke landscapes, fragments of nature, or cultural references reimagined with poetry. Each canvas thus becomes a territory of expression where sensations, memories, and imagination overlap.
His deliberate choice of monochrome is not a formal constraint but a true space for concentration, silence, and depth. His works invite the viewer to a slow, attentive reading, sensitive to tonal subtleties, light effects, and the textures of the pictorial surface. This approach reflects rigorous artistic research at the boundary of abstraction, asserting a distinctly contemporary sensibility and a singular artistic identity.
