Loutfi Souidi, born in 1994 in Sidi Slimane and a graduate of the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tétouan (2018), is a Moroccan artist based in Marrakech. His multidisciplinary practice—ranging from drawing and painting to sculpture, installation, and photography—draws on everyday objects that he collects, assembles, and transforms to explore the relationship between humans, matter, and their environment. His universe, both poetic and critical, engages with retro-futuristic and socio-political dimensions.
In 2022, he held his solo exhibition Je ne sais point at the Comptoir des Mines Galerie in Marrakech, a milestone in his career. Since then, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Morocco and abroad, steadily establishing himself as a significant voice in the contemporary Moroccan art scene.
