KHIARI Mohamed

: Morocco
Born : 1964 in Rabat.

A self-taught artist endowed with extraordinary talent, Mohamed Khiari has earned recognition not only in Morocco but also across several artistic circles abroad. Deeply inspired by Impressionism and Fauvism, he has developed a distinctive pictorial language in which light plays a central, defining role. His bold use of color — vibrant, luminous, and expressive — infuses his canvases with life, energy, and emotion, while maintaining a strong sense of compositional refinement.

Khiari draws his inspiration from everyday scenes, which he reinterprets with a powerful sense of suggestion and expressive autonomy. Each painting becomes a sensitive reflection of reality, shaped by instinctive gesture and a masterful command of luminosity.

Humble and deeply generous, Mohamed Khiari lives entirely for his art. Widely regarded as one of the leading Fauvist painters of the Maghreb, he has enjoyed a flourishing career marked by significant acclaim. Highly sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts in Morocco and Europe, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in France and other countries. His works have been repeatedly sold at public auctions, mainly in the Painting category, attesting to the enduring value and recognition of his artistic legacy.
